Huguenin Geneva, Hunter Case, Straight Line

300.00

Most of the Huguenin family were craftsmen of fine timepieces. It all started with Abram Huguenin of Le Locle in 1643ca. The pocket watch was produced around the late 1800's and this date can be supported with the duel stem wind and key wind movement. The hands appear to be original, the dial is in good condition and pen set for time. The back dust cover is ornate and the words engraved into the cover from top to bottom are: "Huguenin, Geneva, Patent-Lever, Full Penelled, Straight Line." The timepiece weight is 126.0g. There is a cartouche on the front cover and there is no hallmark, which leads me to think its nickle. The movement keeps excellent time.
